Azerbaijan, UAE to discuss expanding economic co-op
The fourth meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic, trade and technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates will be held in Dubai on Dec. 19, the Economic Development Ministry said on Friday, Trend news agency reported.
'The current state of relations in various fields, the work done in the period after the third meeting of the commission and prospects for expanding cooperation will be discussed at the meeting', a statement said.
Azerbaijani Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev and UAE Economy Minister Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri are co-chairmen of the intergovernmental commission.
Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the UAE in January-September amounted to $90.897 million, which is 1.6 times more than in the same period of the last year.
