Azerbaijan expanding customs cooperation
Azerbaijan and France have discussed prospects of cooperation in the field of customs, the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee said on its website on Friday.
The cooperation issues were discussed during a meeting of the committee chairman, Aydin Aliyev, with French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Meunier.
They mulled development of cooperation in strengthening human resource potential in the customs field, maintaining the trend of growth in trade between the two countries, as well as cooperation prospects in other areas.
Aliyev stressed the positive impact of French companies on the development of Azerbaijan's trade and economic relations in the non-oil sector.
The head of the customs committee also discussed prospects for customs cooperation with Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rafael Harpaz as part of a meeting held early this week.
