Deflation posted in May
Consumer prices and fees on services in Azerbaijan decreased by 0.9 percent in May compared to the previous month, the State Statistics Committee said.
Food prices declined by 1.9 percent, while prices for other goods remained unchanged, and fees on services rose by 0.2 percent.
In May there was a rise in fares for passenger transportation to other CIS countries by air.
