Chemical industry park to be set up in Azeri town
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to establish a chemical industry park in Sumgayit, an industrial town located about 30 km north of the capital Baku, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
The park will have the infrastructure and managing bodies required for the development of entrepreneurship and ensure production of competitive goods and provision of high-level services by applying cutting edge technologies.
A number of production facilities and refineries operating in the petrochemicals sector and other key industrial fields will be set up in the Sumgayit Chemical Industry Park.
