Prices to rise 9.8 pct in 2011: Azeri govt
Consumer prices and fees on services in Azerbaijan are expected to increase 9.8 percent in 2011, the Finance Ministry said.
The ministry said in its presentation of the country’s 2012 draft state budget that according to the Economic Development Ministry’s forecast, inflation is to make up 6 percent in 2012, 5 percent in 2013, 5.3 percent in 2014, and 4.8 percent in 2015.
The International Monetary Fund predicts inflation this year at 10.3 pct, while the Asian Development Bank – at 7.5 pct, and the World Bank and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development 9.1 pct.
