Forbes rates Azerbaijan 78th on doing business
Azerbaijan ranked 78th in Forbes magazine’s rating of the world’s best countries for doing business.
Canada topped the list of states assessed, while Chad, ranked 134th, is in the bottom of the list.
Azerbaijan surpassed a number of other CIS countries, including Armenia, Russia and Kazakhstan, in the rankings.
According to Forbes, annual growth rate of the gross domestic product in Azerbaijan is 5 percent, while income per capita is $10,900, and the ratio of trade balance to GDP is 27.7 percent.
