Aliyev orders livestock development in Azerbaijan
BAKU – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Thursday signed an order on additional measures to develop livestock sector in Azerbaijan in order to ensure food security by ratcheting up livestock production and developing cattle breeding.
Under the order, the Agroleasing joint-stock company will receive 5 million manats ($6.25 million) from the President`s Reserve Fund to import breeding cattle in order to lease it to farmers with a discount of 50%.
