Azeri president attends groundbreaking of Gusar power plant
BAKU - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Thursday laid the foundation stone for the hydro electric power station in Gusar, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The hydro electric power station will have three pipes, turbine house, 3 hydro turbines, a hydro generator and a 10 KW- substation.
The facility will be operational in 2011. The construction work will be carried out by Azenco.
The station will produce 7 million kWh of electricity per year.
