Azercell launches GPRS discount zone

BAKU - Azerbaijan’s leading cellular operator Azercell has created a special GPRS discount zone in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Since August 2, post-paid customers spend only 1 talk unit per 10 KB of transferred data, while pre-paid users pay 0.30 manats (37 cents) per 1 MB excluding Value Added Tax (VAT).

Each subscriber of Azercell Telecom is automatically included in the discount zone, and there is no need to send a special text message to use the discounts.

Also, if a customer uses more data than purchased while taking advantage of concessional GPRS packages, the cost of each additional MB of data is halved.
