Increase in women's participation in management observed, Chairwoman says
"The conducted analyzes show that there are positive dynamics in the field of ensuring gender equality in the country. Compared to previous years, there is an increase in the participation of women in management and decision-making."
This was said by Hijran Huseynova, chairman of the family, women's and children's affairs committee of the parliament, Azernews reports.
According to her, the number of women assigned to administrative positions, serving in law enforcement and prosecutor's offices is increasing: "However, as can be seen from the presented information, in the management of the state and decision-making, in the field of science, health and social protection, as well as "Although there is a preponderance of women in the State Statistics Committee and the Intellectual Property Agency, the gender gap is still noticeable in the judiciary, law enforcement and diplomatic bodies, in the fields of economy, finance, agriculture, energy, and ecology."
