Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies supports World Net Summit’s events

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies supported the hosting of the World Net Summit online conference’s two events, the ministry reported on May 13.
The events "Baku E-Trade Forum" and "Maintech Forum" are scheduled to take place on May 13 and are co-organized by the United Nations Development Program, SUP VC and the Innoland Incubation and Acceleration Center, sponsored by BP and organized by Net Summit LLC.
Heads and representatives of a number of popular technology companies around the world and Azerbaijan will attend as speakers at the events.
The "Baku E-Trade Forum" will be moderated by Leyla Bagirzadeh, founder and president of "GOAL", from 16:30 to 18:00. Among speakers of the event are Blanca Zutta, WTO Marketing and Technology Specialist, Walter Trezek, Executive Director of the "Document Exchange Network", Jean Hittel, Chairman of the Board of "Joresco", Ajay Raval, Head of "EY" Global Banking and Capital Markets Restructuring, Linas Dicpetris, Head of Government and Public Sector for Central, Eastern and Southern Europe for "EY", and Vladimir Abramitchev, Director of "Sorbonne Economics".
The "Maintech Forum" will be held from 19:30 to 21:00. Speakers at the phase moderated by Aydin Huseynov will be Rashad Azizov, Head of the Innovation and Digital Development Department of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Azer Bayramov, Adviser to the Chairman of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan, Sakit Samadov, Chairman of the Board of "Logix", "Keepface" co-founder Vagif Abbasov, "Pickvisa.com" founder Baba Agayev, "Paym.es" co-founder Hasan Jabbarov, "Sumaks" co-founder Javid Mammadov and "Buglance" founder Togrul Samad.
