Azerbaijani entrepreneurs can export goods without visiting customs authority

By Rashid Shirinov
The State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan has held a meeting with entrepreneurs using the "green corridor" system, Trend reported via the SCC.
The meeting participants were informed about the delivery of imported goods directly to their warehouses, and that when exporting they can send goods directly to the customs and border checkpoint, without coming to the customs authority.
To date, more than 500 applications have been received for the right to use the “green corridor”, and more than 280 of them were granted this right.
At the meeting it was stressed that the SCC created a 24-hour support group of specialists, which promptly eliminates difficulties that may arise during export and import operations, and business representatives at any time can contact the customs authorities on issues of their interest.
The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the SCC Ismayil Huseynov, Deputy Chairman of the SCC Javad Gasimov, heads of the Directorate General, heads of relevant structures and entrepreneurs.
