Baku to hold another auction on state property privatization

The Azerbaijani State Committee on Property Issues will hold one of the state property privatization auctions on February 27, Trend reports referring to the committee on Feb. 26.
Thus, 96 state properties were put up for auction, of which 57 - small state properties and enterprises, 23 - joint-stock companies, 14 - non-residential areas and two - unfinished buildings.
Among those put up for auction are a recreation area in Sheki district, properties in Sumgait city, Gakh and Balakan districts.
Nine of non-residential areas are located in Baku, the rest - in Sumgait.
Meanwhile, 30-45 percent of shares of joint-stock companies operating in various Azerbaijani cities and districts were also put up for auction.
