2018 to be remembered as year of innovations in Azerbaijan’s business environment

The 2018 will be remembered as a period of great changes and innovations in Azerbaijan’s business environment, Deputy Minister of Taxes Metin Eynullayev said Dec. 24 at the “Foreign Trade Participants Forum: Application of Green Corridor Pass System”, Trend reports.
“Naturally, the State Customs Committee and the Ministry of Taxes are among the important structures that influence the country’s business environment,” said Eynullayev.
One of the important tasks set by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in this direction is to ensure transparency, Eynullayev noted.
He said that a lot of measures were taken for this purpose in 2018, reforms were carried out and conditions were created for entrepreneurs to freely do business.
He noted that the “Green Corridor” is an example in the striving of the state to ensure transparency in this area.
He further stressed that the main goal of the ministry is to encourage entrepreneurs and to voluntarily participate in tax transactions both at the legislative and administrative levels.
