Azerbaijan to produce accumulators

Azerbaijan started negotiations with two major world companies on setting up accumulator production in the country.
A $25 million plant is planned to be built in Azerbaijan, which, unlike other similar enterprises, expects to bring economic benefits very soon.
First, it is planned to neutralize old batteries that are unusable, and then to dispose of them.
Finished products will be supplied not only to the domestic market, but also exported.
Recently, in addition to oil engineering, newer industries have been developed in Azerbaijan, such as electrical engineering, instrument engineering, and radio electronics.
In the recent years, in order to transform the industry into the locomotive of the non-oil sector consistent and systematic measures have been taken in Azerbaijan.
Meanwhile, industrial products have a huge share in the gross domestic product composition in Azerbaijan. The country continues to compete with Russia and Ukraine, which has huge industrial complexes among the CIS countries in the industrial sphere.
