Banks to operate during holidays upon FMSB's suggestion

Branches of local banks will continue their operation during New Year holidays.
The Financial Market Supervisory Body (FMSB) announced that the institutions will operate in strengthened mode starting from December 31, 2016 till January 4, 2017.
The switch to the regime will be implemented under suggestion and supervision of the FMSB.
Some 108 branches of 25 banks operating in the capital city and main tourist zones will continue to render their services. Besides, a special monitoring group of the regulator will also operate during the holidays.
Hotline will also be available 24 hours to provide all-round assistance to customers. Hotline number is 012 493-50-58 (internal number 300)

December 31 is the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and January 1-4 are New Year holidays.
