MasterCard opens office in Baku

MasterCard Europe, the leading global payments and technology company, has opened its representative office in Azerbaijan headed by Yasemin Bedir, said the message published on September 21 in the Vergiler newspaper of the country’s Taxes Ministry.
MasterCard Europe company was registered in the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan May 26, 2016.
Yasemin Bedir at the post of head of MasterCard Europe’s office in Azerbaijan will be responsible for strategically important directions of the payment system’s development in the country, as well as development of e-payments in 13 European countries.
