It is honor to win medal of first European Games - Ukrainian boxer

The first European Games held in Baku are major international start of the career of Ukrainian boxer Jaroslav Samofalov, he said in an interview with sportonline.ua website.
“The tournament in Baku is a major international start in my career,” he said. “It is an honor to win a medal at this tournament.”
Ukrainian boxer Jaroslav Samofalov (69 kg), won the bronze medal of the European Games. In the semifinals he lost to Russian Alexander Besputin with the score of 0:3.
“I really liked the European Games,” said the athlete. “I mean not only the organization, but also sports facilities. It was my first performance on such an arena! It seemed that I was at the Olympics! I think the European Games will become a good rehearsal before the Olympic Games for me.”
The European Games that kicked off in Baku June 12, will last
till June 28. There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16
Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports.
More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe came to Baku to
represent their nations over 17 days of competition. Baku was
awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in
December 2012.
