Baku 2015: Finalists of men's pistol qualifications announced
The finalists of the Men's 50m Pistol Qualifications were announced as part of the first European Games in Baku on June 20.
Serbian Damir Mikec and Ukrainian Oleg Omelchuk, scoring 567 points, showed the best results. Turkish Yusuf Dikec came in next with 564 points.
In total, eight athletes from Serbia, Ukraine, Turkey, Germany, Slovakia and Iceland advanced to the finals.
Azerbaijani athlete Rasul Mammadov ranked 24th with 540 points.
The European Games that kicked off in Baku June 12, will last till June 28. There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports.
More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe came to Baku to represent their nations over 17 days of competition. Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
