Russia names diving team for European Games
Head coach of the Russian National Diving team Oleg Zaitsev has announced the squad for the first European Games to be held in Baku this June.
The men`s squad will include Ilya Molchanov, Nikita Nikolaev, Aleksandr Beleychev and Nikita Schleicher.
Ekaterina Nekrasova, Maria Polyakova, Elena Chernykh, Anna Chuynishena and Yulia Timoshinina will vie for the medals in the women`s event.
Russia will be represented by 360 athletes at the Baku 2015 Games.
Baku was honored to host the Games by the European Olympic Committees in December 2012. Baku 2015 European Games will gather over 6,000 athletes from 50 countries to compete in 20 sports, including 16 Olympic.
