Azerbaijan an example on security: Crans Montana Forum

Azerbaijan has ensured its security and stability, despite a complicated geo-political situation in the region, and its success could set an example for other countries, chairman of Crans Montana Forum (CMF) Jean-Paul Carteron has said.
Addressing an international summit and forum on global security in Geneva devoted to combating trans-national crime, Carteron said Azerbaijan has achieved tremendous success in economic and social development in recent years under President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership.
"As a result of a balanced foreign policy and energy projects, Azerbaijan has turned today into a key element of European and global security," Carteron said.
The forum, organized by the Crans Montana Forum on November 16-19, was attended by government officials from over 60 countries and more than 200 representatives of international companies and organizations.
Carteron said in his remarks that the next session of the forum will take place in Baku on President Aliyev’s invitation.
