The most immediate indicator of progress is the significant increase in national electricity generation capacity. As of this year, Azerbaijan’s total installed capacity has reached 9,732.5 MW, up 15.6% year-on-year, driven by the commissioning of major new power plants. The most prominent among them is the 1,880 MW "8 Noyabr" Power Plant in Mingachevirthe largest of its kind in the South Caucasus.
