New scandal erupts in Yerevan

Armenia has entered the new year with a new scandal that erupted with the participation of a member of the Armenian National Assembly, Manvel Grigoryan.
Residents of Echmiadzin district witnessed how the bodyguards of Grigoryan beat former mayor Hrachik Abgaryan, who parked his car next to one of the supermarkets in Echmiadzin.
Bodyguards of General Manvel released air from tire. Then brawl occurred and they have beaten Hrachik Abgaryan in front of his wife and daughter.
Armenian press has repeatedly written that Grigoryan thinks of Echmiadzin as of his property. Residents don’t believe that Grigoryan will be brought to justice, saying that everyone once again will pretend that nothing happened.
