Ilham Aliyev: 30 carpet factories planned to be created in Azerbaijan

It is planned to create 30 carpet factories in Azerbaijan, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said.
The president made the remarks at a meeting with the staff of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park after attending a groundbreaking ceremony for new enterprises.
The head of the state noted that a great attention is paid to the development of carpet weaving in recent years, and ten carpet factories opened in a short period of time.
"Ten more factories will be opened next year and we plan to create thirty carpet factories. Of course, local raw materials needed for successful activity of these factories and the foundation of the spinning and dyeing factory has been laid. This enterprise will be created through public investment. So, we will provide all carpet weavers, who work at these factories, as well as individually working carpet masters with raw material," the president said.
