Russia writes off Kyrgyz debt

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on ratification of agreement with Kyrgyzstan on writing off the republic's debt to the amount of nearly $500 million, Interfax news agency reported.
According to the law, Putin ordered to ratify the agreement, signed in Bishkek in September, 2012.
The Russian Federation Council ratified the agreement on April 27.
