New steel company inaugurated in Iran

Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi inaugurated Nasr-e Azarbaijan Steel Company in the Northeastern East Azarbaijan province on Sunday, IRNA news agency reported.

The inauguration ceremony took place concurrent with the fourth round of provincial tour of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and cabinet ministers to East Azarbaijan province.

Nasr-e Azarbaijan Steel Company has the output capacity of 300,000 tons of different steel products.

A total of $12 million has been spent for purchasing the equipments from abroad. A total of 100 jobs have been created after launching the steel company.
