Turkish president calls for patience on Kurdish issue

Turkish President Abdullah Gul said it was necessary to be careful and patient during the solution process to Kurdish issue, Anadolu news agency reported.

"We should not see everything through rose-colored glasses just like that," Gul told reporters regarding the course of solution process to Kurdish issue.

"I always believe it is beneficial that everybody contribute in the process in a constructive manner to get rid of such a big problem," said Gul.

He underlined that the solution process would be pursued by laying down weapons completely.

Regarding how the withdrawal process would work, Gul said that security units would carry out such technical issues.

On Tuesday, MP from Peace & Democracy Party (BDP), Sirri Sureyya Onder, said that PKK would begin to withdraw from Turkey after April 25.

PKK terrorist organization's jailed leader Abdullah Ocalan has recently called the armed forces of the organization to withdraw from Turkey.
