Armenia approves agreement on establishment of Turkmen trade mission
The Armenian government on Thursday approved an agreement on the establishment of trade missions in the Armenian and Turkmen capitals, Trend news agency reported referring to Armenian ARKA agency.
"We believe it is important, particularly given the trade and economic activity between the two countries over the past period," Armenian Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan said at a government meeting.
He also stressed that the opening of the missions will not require funds from the budget.
According to Armenia's National Statistical Service, trade turnover between Armenia and Turkmenistan amounted to $21.8 million in January-October 2012, or 18.3% less compared to the same period in 2011.
