SOCAR chief meets senior Swedish official
President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev has met Sweden`s State Secretary for Trade Gunnar Oom.
Abdullayev stressed the role of Nobel brothers in the
development of Azerbaijan's oil industry.
He also briefed Oom on large scale projects carried out by SOCAR in
Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia, adding there were wide prospects
for the bilateral cooperation.
On the investment climate in Azerbaijan, Abdullayev said the
country was open for foreign investments, including for Swedish
companies.
Oom said Swedish companies were interested in cooperation with
SOCAR in a variety of fields.
