Ex-US diplomat’s remarks biased, Azerbaijani embassy says
The remarks made by Wayne Merry, Former U.S. diplomat about Azerbaijan are biased and unfounded, Samir Bejanov, Third Secretary of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in the U.S..
“Back in 2012, Wayne Merry illegally visited the Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia, and as a result, he was included to the list of undesirable persons by Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry,” Bejanov told Trend on February 4.
“And in this regard, he is making biased and unfounded criticism of Azerbaijan,” the diplomat added.
Earlier, several media outlets spread Merry’s biased criticism against Azerbaijan.
