President Aliyev arrives in Hungary

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Hungary on a
working visit.
The head of state was welcomed by senior state and government officials of Hungary at Ferenc Liszt International Airport in Budapest.
Recently, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto visited Baku and held talks with Azerbaijan’s top officials.
Hungary recognized Azerbaijan's independence in 1991, and diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in April 1992.
The cooperation in industry, energy, transportation, agriculture, communications and information technology, pharmaceuticals, environment, culture, tourism and other areas are carried out successfully, and trade relations develop between the two countries.
In 2013, the trade turnover between the Azerbaijan and Hungary increased by nearly 40 percent up to 3.3 million.
