CMO head holds several meetings in Abu Dhabi
An Azerbaijani delegation led by Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade held a number of meetings as part the visit to Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.
The visit aimed at attending the Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies, AzerTag news agency reported.
The delegation met UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, and Kuwaiti Deputy Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Adel al Falah.
Pashazade will make a report on strengthening peace in Muslim societies. He is also scheduled to meet Chairman of the UAE`s General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei.
