Azerbaijan-Serbia relations mulled

Azerbaijan`s Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov has met President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic as part of his official visit to Belgrade.
At the meeting, Hasanov said the Azerbaijan-Serbia relations had been developing rapidly thanks to efforts of the two countries` presidents, AzerTag state news agency reported.
He expressed hope that his visit would contribute to the bilateral cooperation in the field of defense.
The minister also visited defense industry facilities of Serbia and the embassy of Azerbaijan in the country.
During his visit, Zakir Hasanov and his Serbian counterpart Nebojša Rodić signed an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of defense. Hasanov also met with First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić and visited the Serbian Defense University.
