Azerbaijan, Laos highlight bilateral trade

Azerbaijan and Laos emphasized the importance of increasing mutual investment and trade during a meeting between Azerbaijani Ambassador to Laos Anar Imanov and Laos President Choummaly Sayasone, Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry reported.
During the meeting, Imanov presented credentials to the president of Laos and conveyed best wishes of President Ilham Aliyev.
The President of Laos thanked for the greetings and wishes and asked to convey his greetings and best wishes to the President of Azerbaijan and wished the ambassador success in activities in Laos.
The meeting discussed the importance of developing bilateral relations, as there is a great potential in this regard.
Imanov also provided information about Armenia's occupation policy, the region's infrastructure projects and achievements in the economic sphere.
Sayasone, in turn, emphasized the importance of transition to a new and higher level of relations between the two countries, as well as mutual investment and trade.
