Rehearsal for military parade underway in Baku
A dress rehearsal for the military parade dedicated to the Day of the Armed Forces, which is celebrated on June 26, started in Baku on June 24.
Over 5,000 personnel of various military units of the armed forces, more than 400 units of military equipment and weapons systems, more than 100 combat aircraft and helicopters and over 40 warships are involved in the last rehearsal of the military parade.
Representatives of all troops are expected to march through a central square in Baku. In the end, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces aircraft will demonstrate the country's flag in the sky.
Defense Minister Safar Abiyev, generals and high-ranking servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces will observe the rehearsal.
In this regard, the traffic was limited in all streets and roads in the direction of Azadliq Square.
