Jordanian speaker meets Azeri envoy
BAKU – Azerbaijani ambassador to Jordan Elman Arasli met with chairman of the Jordanian Chamber of Deputies of the parliament Faisal Faiz.
Arasli said they discussed development of cooperation between the parliaments of Azerbaijan and Jordan, mutual visits of the chairmen of parliaments, as well as representatives of the interparliamentary group of friendship.
Arasli highlighted the reforms in the country, as well as the current state of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Faisal Faiz said that his country supports Azerbaijan’s fair position in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
He stressed importance of strengthening interparliamentary ties between the two countries.
