EU-Azerbaijan talks on visa facilitation ‘to begin in weeks’
BAKU – Talks on facilitation of visa regime between Azerbaijan and the European Union will begin in the coming weeks, Head of EU Delegation, Ambassador Roland Kobia told journalists at the international conference on the topic "Eastern Partnership after two years: progress and difficulties ", which was held in Baku on Wednesday.
"Now we expect mandate granting. If both sides have political will, this process will be rapidly completed," Kobia said.
He underlined that Georgia is a positive example in this regard.
"We want to facilitate the movement of people between Europe and Azerbaijan, and this requires both sides’ efforts," Kobia added.
