US mediator to take new post
Matthew Bryza, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State
and US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group brokering settlement of the
Armenia-Azerbaijan Upper (Nagorno) Garabagh conflict, will hold the
post of Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Caucasus issues, he
told reporters in Georgia.
Bryza said that he was happy to continue his activity in the new Washington administration. "I know this region very well and will continue working in the Caucasus," he said.
