Tase: Illegal regime's acts threaten nature of Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh

The Western media outlets do not sufficiently cover the issue of the occupation of Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh region by Armenia and the damage it causes to the nature of the region, Peter Tase, US expert on Global Politics and Transatlantic Relations, adviser to Global Engineering Deans Council and other prestigious international institutions, said.
Tase made the remarks at a session titled “Disinformation Policy - Threat to Stability in the Modern World”, held during the 6th Baku International Humanitarian Forum on Oct. 26.
He said the activity of the illegal regime harms the flora and fauna and poses a big threat to the nature of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Tase stressed that the illegal regime pursues a policy of using the natural resources of the region, plunders them.
As a result of the activity of the Kapan Mining and Processing Enterprise in Armenia itself, the Araz River is greatly polluted.
