Sheki hosts art exhibition within Azerbaijan Art Festival-2013

The sixth art exhibition has opened at the State Art Gallery in one of Azerbaijan's most beautiful cities, Sheki.
The art exhibition, shown in the country's regions within the Azerbaijan Art Festival-2013 project, is organized by the Baku Creative Center with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The exhibition features about 40 works.
During the opening ceremony it was noted that the main goal of the Azerbaijan Art Festival-2013 project is to increase public interest in art, to explore the existing potential and to support creative youth.
On June 24 Erkin Alekberli, a participant of the project, will hold an art master class at Sheki Art School.
Participants of Azerbaijan Art Festival-2013 are Novruz Mammadov, Mammad Rashidov, Erkin Alekberli, Faraj Rahmanov, Gulnara Alinova, Bahruz Kangarli, Anar Huseynzade, Alekber Mammadov, Anar Ismayilzade, Lala Aghayeva, Mehriban Efendi, Gunel Ravilova, Ayten Shirzadova, Pernisa Asgerova and Aysel Amirova.
The Azerbaijan Art Festival-2013 project envisions arranging mobile exhibitions and master classes in the cities including the capital Baku as well as regions of the country. Earlier, Salyan, Saatli, Shirvan, Kurdamir, and Mingachevir hosted the mobile exhibitions and master classes. Gakh, Ismayilli, Khachmaz and Sumgayit are the following destinations.
The main purpose of the Baku Creative Center is to promote Azerbaijani culture beyond the country, to formulate a PR strategy for the realization of advanced ideas and to help people materialize their creative ideas.
