Central Asia CIO Summit due in September

The Central Asia representation of IDC, the premier global provider of market intelligence, and Azerbaijan have announced the first Central Asia CIO Summit to be held in Kazakhstan on September 5-6.

The Central Asia CIO Summit, organized by IDC, will be the most important ICT event in Central Asia in 2013, which will bring together more than 80 ICT directors from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The event will draw leading ICT companies. IDC's international experts will talk about the latest trends in the ICT market, new trends and innovations.

Such topics as business intelligence, data management, cost optimization and cost management, and IT management will be discussed at the event.

Executive Vice President of IDC International Business Units Philippe de Marcillac, IDC Senior Vice President Steven Frantzen, IDC Vice President Robert Farish, and Vice President and Regional Managing Director of IDC Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, Jyoti Lalchandani, are due to attend the event.

The summit partners are Hewlett Packard, Oracle, Kazakhtelekom, Check Point, VMware, Microsoft, Comparex, Cyber-Ark, Canon, IBM, NetApp, Vision Solutions, Citrix, McAfee, Juniper Networks, Konica Minolta, Business Applications Software, Airwatch, and SmartCom.
