U.S., Azerbaijan to sign memo on ICT in November
The U.S. State Department and the Azerbaijani communications ministry plan to sign a memorandum of understanding on ICT, the US ambassador in Baku said at a meeting with Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov, the ministry said on Saturday.
Richard Morningstar said the document will be signed on the sidelines of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), which will be held in Baku in the framework of the BakuTel-2012 international telecommunications exhibition, due November 6-9.
The US delegation will be headed by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and Coordinator for International Communications and Information Policy Philip Verveer.
