Indonesia and Azerbaijan signed three documents during a business forum on Monday in Baku that was attended by about 50 businessmen and included discussions on ways of increasing bilateral cooperation.

The Chamber of Commerce of Indonesia inked Memorandums of Understanding with Azerbaijani export and investment promotion agency Azpromo, and with the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan (ASK). A memorandum was also signed between the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Network of Young Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan.

The signing ceremony was attended by the chairman of the Indonesian Chamber, Osman Safta, and acting head of Azpromo Rufat Mammadov.

The Indonesian delegation was headed by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa.

Mammadov said the relations between the two countries are on a high level and the signing of the documents in Baku was another step towards strengthening this cooperation.
