Azerbaijan forecasts 10 pct agricultural output growth
Agricultural production in Azerbaijan is expected to grow 10 percent this year, the agriculture minister has said.
Ismat Abbasov told the press on Tuesday that growth in grain crop production will be 23 percent, terming this as "a good indicator".
The country’s agricultural output in January-August 2011 increased 9.4 pct in comparison with the same period of 2010. Production in plant growing rose 13.7 pct and in animal husbandry 4.2 pct.
