Russia, space industry group sign agreement in Baku
BAKU – Russia’s communications ministry and Intersputnik International Organization of Space Communications signed a cooperation agreement in Baku on Tuesday.
The deal was inked at the 43rd session of the Board of the Communications Administrations Heads of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC) held in the Azerbaijani capital.
Also, RCC, which includes CIS and Eastern Europe countries, and Pan African Postal Union signed an agreement on cooperation in postal services for 2011-2016.
Discussions also centered on prospects for collaboration in satellite communication, digital television broadcasts and other issues.
