Israeli tourism minister to visit Azerbaijan
Israeli Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov is due to visit
Azerbaijan in July. An initial agreement to that end was reached
during a meeting between the Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State
Committee on Work with the Diaspora, Nazim Ibrahimov, and the
minister, in Israel on Wednesday.
Misezhnikov said the visit aims to explore Azerbaijan’s tourism
potential. He said Israel was interested in cooperation with the
South Caucasus republic in the field of tourism, the State
Committee’s press service reported.
Ibrahimov provided extensive information about the tourism
potential of Azerbaijan, adding that the country was ready to
cooperate with Israel in this field.*
