Major Azeri construction firm changes hands
Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Property Issues has finalized the
investment tender for the privatization of the major construction
company Azenco, with another local firm, Inter Energy, taking
ownership of the JSC’s stock, according to the Committee.
Azenco is mainly engaged in constructing and repairing energy facilities, buildings and installations.
Under the investment program, Inter Energy LLC will channel 50 million manats ($62.5 million) into the company over four years, which will be spent on the development of production and services as well as upgrade operations.*
