State property committee revoked, another set up
Azerbaijan`s State Committee on Property Management
has been invalidated, according to a decree issued by President
Ilham Aliyev. The State Committee on Property Issues is being set
up in lieu of the body.
Also, the State Real Estate Registry Service will, from now onward, operate under the newly-established committee.
Under another presidential decree, Karam Hasanov, who previously acted as chairman of the property committee, will now head the State Committee on Property Issues.
