Azerbaijan wins five medals at European taekwondo championship
Azerbaijani athletes have claimed a clutch of five medals as the European taekwondo championship wrapped up in Baku, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The final day of the championship saw two Azerbaijani fighters win bronzes.
In the men`s 74kg weight category, Ilkin Shahbazov had to be satisfied with the bronze medal after losing to a French fighter.
Farida Azizova earned bronze in the women`s 67kg class.
Azerbaijan grabbed one gold and two bronze medals in the previous days of the championship.
