Well-known US sportswriter visits Ganja
Sportswriter covering Jets and Giants for ESPNW, Roller Derby`s Lesley Visserate, a former adjunct professor at Columbia J-School, Jane McManus, has met representatives of mass media in the Azerbaijani city of Ganja, AzerTac state news agency reported.
McManus shared her journalistic, teaching as well as sportswriter experiences during the meeting, which was held in a center set up on the basis of a city library by the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan. She also welcomed the successes of Azerbaijani sportsmen in international tournaments.
The American journalist appreciated the great interest taken in sports in the regions of Azerbaijan and stressed it as a positive factor for further success.
McManus also visited Kepez TV and familiarized herself with the conditions provided there for sportswriters.
